I recently made a purchase for my fiance’s wedding band. After doing some research it sounds as if there are positives and negatives to this ring…as I’m sure there is to any ring.) I’m just curious if anyone else has bought this kind of ring…and if they ever had any problems. I appreciate any useful advice.
Buying tungsten wedding bands are a great idea. My husband and I bought a matching pair from http://www.tungstenworld.com and we could not be happier.
I do not think buying from Kohl’s is a good idea.
First, I don’t want to sound elitist or a snob but how would you feel if your fiance bought your engagement ring from Kohl’s? If you can’t afford it, then that’s fine, buy your engagement ring from Kohl’s. My husband bought my engagement ring from Tiffany’s. Now I didn’t expect to buy matching bands from Tiffany’s as well, but I was not about to get our wedding bands from Mervyn’s or something.
Second, what type of guaranty do they have on this ring? If your ring size changes after 3 years, will they re-size the ring? I know for a fact that tungsten rings cannot be re-sized at any jeweler and I highly doubt Kohl’s will help you.
What is nice about the place I went to is that they offer lifetime sizing and lifetime replacement if any scratches or scuffing appeared.
Great idea actually. I work there, and the return policy is good. Not that I am hoping your marriage will fail, but if it happens to go down the tubes, keep the UPC and receipt and you or him can return it for your money back. They are nice, but make sure you scope out the best deal. Usually Early Birds on Saturday mornings will get you the best deal.
I am not very sure on that.
